Building agentic infrastructure. Advising modern engineering teams.

Sean Lachenberg is a Georgia Tech computer science alumnus, with concentrations in Intelligence and Media, and founder of LockN and OneSun Strategies.

He leads LockN’s self-hosted R&D in agentic infrastructure and Personal AI, connecting context, attributed signals, operating standards, assessments, and receipts. LockN’s core capabilities have been built and exercised internally; it is now developing LockN Companion and preparing its first enterprise pilot offerings.

Through OneSun, he has delivered executive technology advisory on modernization, engineering operations, and AI infrastructure.

He brings 10+ years of experience in full-stack development, .NET platforms, and distributed systems, including leadership in regulated industries. At Compass, he developed and deployed autonomous measurement systems in air-gapped environments at U.S. defense facilities, spanning software, UX, robotic motion, and electromagnetic data acquisition.

At OncoHealth, he led engineering for Iris’s mobile and supporting platform for virtual patient care, including 24/7 access to oncology nurses. His work spanned symptom monitoring, care-team messaging, caregiver access, appointment scheduling, content, and outreach. He served as Principal Software Engineer and also led utilization-management modernization.

At Landis+Gyr, he worked on Command Center, an enterprise smart-meter platform, and led a multi-regional Agile development team.

Experience in detail
  1. Now

    LockN

    Founder & Chief Engineer

Leads product direction, architecture and hands-on development of agentic infrastructure and Personal AI around user context. Self-hosted R&D brings together context acquisition, attributed signals, operating standards, agentic assessments and receipts, with privately operated inference and in-house CI/CD. Core capabilities are built and exercised internally; LockN Companion is in development and the first enterprise pilot offerings are being prepared.

  2. Now

    OneSun Strategies

    Founder & Principal

Modern-Day Engineering: consulting, advisory and fractional technical leadership, helping teams make consequential technical decisions and improve how they build and ship. In October 2025, delivered executive-level advice on modernization readiness, cross-functional operating models, delivery accountability and foundational AI investment; recommendations included private model access, model governance, decision receipts, human review and evaluation-gated pilots.

  3. Prior role

    Compass

    Autonomous systems

Developed and deployed autonomous measurement systems in air-gapped environments at U.S. defense facilities, spanning full-stack software, UX modernization, robotic motion and navigation, and the capture and processing of electromagnetic measurements to monitor equipment condition. Developed novel measurement algorithms and custom hardware integrations, supported defense clients and mentored the software team. Separately, contributed to technical proposals seeking SBIR funding for research involving reinforcement learning.

  4. Prior role

    OncoHealth

Iris 24/7 virtual patient care · healthcare platforms

Led engineering for Iris’s mobile app and supporting platform, serving people living with cancer and their caregivers, with 24/7 access to oncology nurses. The work covered symptom monitoring, care-team messaging, caregiver access, virtual appointments, clinical content, webinars and outreach, and internal delivery improvements. Served as Principal Software Engineer and also led technical work on utilization-management modernization.

  5. Prior role

    Landis+Gyr

    Enterprise smart-meter platforms

Worked on Command Center, an enterprise smart-meter platform: multi-tenant configuration and dynamic interfaces, and root-cause analysis of release-blocking issues found in critical-to-quality testing across the IoT smart-meter RF network scalability farm. Led a multi-regional Agile development team and directed three offshore teams focused on automation and DevOps.

LockN is the software venture; OneSun Strategies is a separate consulting and advisory practice. Compass, OncoHealth and Landis+Gyr are prior employers, not LockN customers. OneSun advisory is described by scope; client details stay confidential.
